Nuclear Abominations is proud to co-organize the independent horror film festival Spasmo Fest, now in its fourth edition, starting in 2024. Spasmo Fest is dedicated to showcasing underground and indie horror films, offering a platform for filmmakers who embrace the bizarre, extreme, and unconventional. The festival has no restrictions on budget or year of production, accepting films from 1990 to the present.

With categories such as Best Feature, Best Director, Best Short, Weird King (for the most bizarre films), and Extreme Award, Spasmo Fest celebrates the creativity and diversity of the horror genre. Winners also have the chance for international DVD distribution through SPASMO VIDEO, the festival’s sponsor, specializing in cult and underground horror.
